Volunteer Activities

Allison Ishman, owner of Ishman BodyCare Center, began working as a massage therapist in Naperville in 1994. Following work at Hot Springs outside Seattle, Edward Health and Fitness Center and another local private practice, she opened her clinic in 1995.  Her goal was to provide top quality, innovative care to her clients.  Originally from Glen Ellyn, she enjoys music, Italian food and red wines, theatre, rock climbing, hiking and mountaineering, summiting Kilimanjaro, running, golf, cross country skiing, and strength training.

 Services Offered

  • Developer of Fascial Link Therapy, an advanced method of Neuromuscular, Myofascial treatment with a focus on balancing the body's structural and energy systems, with an emphasis on working with fascia

  • Energy Medicine Practitioner, with training from Donna Eden

  • Trigger Point, Neuromuscular, and Myofascial Release Therapies, especially for pre/post surgery, whiplash, chronic pain or repetitive use injuries, TMJ, back or neck pain.  Often includes postural analysis or orthopedic assessment techniques.
