Sport Conditioning Programs

For active people who want to improve performance in a specific sport or sports, remain free of injury or seek safe, effective recovery from injury, we can address the specifics in:

  • Racquet sports  - Balancing muscle build with the torque of a racket swing can reduce injury and boost performance.  Allison worked with the US Olympic Badminton venue in Atlanta in 1996, and with PreOlympic players in Oak Brook Illinois in 1995.
  • Golf  - Balancing muscle build with the torque of a golf swing can reduce injury and boost performance.  Discover the unique biomechanics involved in your swing, and ways to make that muscle balance work for you.
  • Baseball/Softball - Marci has experience working with baseball players at Kishwaukee college, and can focus on development and strength as well as recovery for the baseball and softball player.
  • Gymnastics - As a gymnast growing up, Allison understands the conditioning and performance requirements of a gymnast.  Specific exercises to prevent injury, recover, and boost performance can truly change the direction of a workout program.  Inquire for details.
  • Rock climbing - Allison
  • Soccer  - Allison

Programs include strengthening, cardiovascular, relaxation, stretching, and related wellness information.  High performance techniques such as plyometrics (burst speed) or resisted stretching techniques may be used in some cases.

For an email response, please describe  your goals  and what your current training plan includes (if you have one).  We will ask you a few questions in order to complete a customized program.
